What can I expect when I visit?

We know visiting a place for the first time can be a little uncomfortable. Let us alleviate some of that by sharing a few details about what you can expect when you visit AT.

What are services like at AT?

Generally, services at AT run about 60 to 75 mins. Service will open with the music team leading us in dynamic praise and worship. Our song lyrics are displayed on a screen so you can sing along with us. We get excited about God! You will see people clapping and raising their hands. Feel free to worship in whatever way you are comfortable. Following the worship portion of our service, our pastor or another of our dedicated ministers will come up to share an encouraging message based on sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ! At Apostolic Tabernacle we are passionate about the Word of God, so clapping or standing during portions of the sermon to encourage the preacher is normal. We know that the Word of God has power to change lives!

How should I dress?

You will see a wide variety of dress at a service at AT. Some will dress up while others tend to come more casually. Wednesdays tend to be a little more casual. While many still dress up, we have many workers coming straight from their jobs as well. Feel free to come as you are. You will always be welcomed and cherished as our guest.

Where do I park?

There are 2 parking lots on the AT campus. A smaller parking lot is located directly off of Wellington Ave. If you turn onto Wonder Way which intersects Wellington Ave, you will find the main parking about a block down on the right. There are no reserved spots in the main parking lot, so park wherever you would like. We do have handicap parking spots available to the right just past the sanctuary.

What do I do when I arrive?

There are several buildings on the AT campus. The red brick building houses our main sanctuary. When you enter, expect to be welcomed by a member of our warm and friendly greeting staff. In the foyer, you can find bathrooms to the hallway to the left. Once you enter the main sanctuary, feel free to sit wherever you like unless there is a reserved sign on the pew. A countdown will begin playing 5 minutes prior to our service beginning. If you need help feel free to ask any member of our ushering staff near the main sanctuary doors. If you have children, you may drop them off for classes in the white education building.

What about my kids?

We have lots of families with teens and small children at Apostolic Tabernacle so you are not alone! We have done our best to make children a priority. We have a nursery available for infants and babies up to age 2.5. We also have Sunday School and kids classes available. For the safety of all our children, there is a check-in process that will take just a couple of minutes. We want you to feel confident and comfortable worshipping with us knowing that your kids are safe and in good hands.
