We know walking into a new church can feel like a big step. At Apostolic Tabernacle, we want you to feel at home from the moment you pull into the parking lot. Here's what to expect so there are no surprises.
Whether it's been years since you've stepped inside a church or you just moved to Wilmington, NC and you're looking for a new home — you're welcome here. No perfect people, just real ones seeking God together.
What to Know
You’ll see a wide variety of dress at AT — some dress up, others come casual. Wednesdays tend to be a little more relaxed, with many coming straight from work. Feel free to come as you are. You’ll always be welcomed and cherished as our guest.
Two lots on campus — a smaller one off Wellington Ave and the main lot on Wonder Way, about a block down on the right. No reserved spots in the main lot, so park wherever you’d like. Handicap spaces are available just past the sanctuary.
Our guest experience team will meet you at the door, help you find your way, and answer any questions. No pressure, just a genuine welcome.
Contemporary, heartfelt, and Spirit-led worship. We sing, we pray, we seek God together. Expect about 75–90 minutes for the full service.
Safe, age-appropriate programs for every age — Nursery for our littlest ones, AT Kids for ages 2.5 to 10. Check in your kids at the AT Kids area and they'll have a blast while you enjoy the service.
Practical, biblical messages that meet you where you are. Pastor Grizzle teaches in a way that's relevant, honest, and rooted in Scripture.

Your kids matter to us. AT Kids provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2.5 to 10. Our trained volunteers lead age-appropriate lessons, worship, and activities so your kids have their own experience while you focus on yours.
First-time families can check in at the AT Kids area — our team will walk you through everything.
